Project involves, on two separate compounds; security upgrades and renovations to gates, perimeter walls, exterior of existing buildings, involving Chancery, Office Building, Marine Security Guard Residence, Consular Affairs Section and support facilities; as well as demolition and reconstruction of access facilities. In order to maintain Embassy activities during construction, temporary swing spaces with full functionality are also being constructed. One of the most distinguishing features of this project is the replacement of close to 300 existing windows with new FE/BR windows at Chancery Building, MSGR, GSO, Commissary and Motorpool Buildings; which requires very careful planning and coordination with the functioning Embassy. New FE/BR doors, windows and more than 700 sm of hardline walls are also being integrated into the new access facilities.
